Publicity
Your message matters, but it won’t make an impact unless it’s heard.
That’s where our Publicity Service steps in. We combine top PR strategies with SEO expertise to ensure your message reaches your ideal audience. Our approach helps you grow your following, strengthen your brand, and gain the visibility your book deserves.
What’s Included in the Publicity Service Package?
The goal of any PR campaign is to secure opportunities that put you and your book in front of your ideal audience. Our Publicity Service blends expert public relations with search engine optimization (SEO) to secure high-impact media placements that maximize your visibility and engagement with your target audience.
Media Planning
- We begin by thoroughly analyzing your book and utilizing advanced SEO tools to create a targeted keyword list that highlights your areas of expertise. This ensures your message reaches the right journalists and publications.
- Your Publishing and Publicity Managers will collaborate with you to refine your expertise and identify the most effective media opportunities for your brand.
- Leveraging our extensive media network, we secure coverage in top publications through quote placements, thought leadership pieces, and interviews. Together with your Publicity Manager, you’ll build a reservoir of quotes for timely media opportunities.
Results
- We target every opportunity that offers high influence or strong domain authority (DA) to ensure the best chances of your message being noticed by your ideal audience.
- On average, authors receive 4-8 media opportunities per month. Even for busy authors who respond to 70% of these opportunities, 2-4 media placements go live each month, boosting their visibility and reach.
Timing
- Our Publicity Service requires a minimum 6-month commitment, with an option to extend for an additional 3 months.
- If your book is still in progress, your Publishing Manager and Publicity Manager will collaborate with you to determine the ideal time to start your publicity campaign for maximum impact.
- If your book has already been launched, you can get started right away!

How the American Publishers Audiobook Process Works
We follow a proven process to help you find the ideal narrator to bring your book to life. From there, we handle recording, production, and distribution across all major audiobook platforms.
(1) Preparation
Your audiobook journey begins with you telling us who your ideal narrator is. The more specific you are, the better. With access to thousands of professional narrators, we’ll find someone who fits your voice and has experience in your industry.
If you prefer to narrate your book yourself, our audiobook producer will schedule your recording sessions based on your availability.
Before recording starts, we use Pozotron to identify potentially tricky words in your manuscript. Each flagged word is paired with a recorded pronunciation guide, used throughout the recording and post-production to ensure consistency.
(2) Recording
- The first recording session is about getting comfortable with the studio, finding your rhythm, and refining the voice for your audiobook.
- A dedicated director will be present during the reading to ensure accurate pronunciation, strong pacing, and consistent tone. Their job is to guide the narrator and bring out the best possible performance.
- We collaborate with top-tier professionals to ensure the highest production quality.
(3) Post Production
- An editing engineer reviews the recording, making adjustments to pacing and removing background noises like pops or clicks.
- After editing, a quality control engineer steps in to double-check everything. They ensure the final product is seamless, polished, and free of any audio errors.
- Once post-production is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to review the audiobook. If any changes or re-recordings (pickups) are needed, we’ll schedule and re-master those sections as well.
(4) Launch
- Your audio files are uploaded and begin the review process. Once approved, your audiobook is sent to retailers, and it typically goes live within 5 weeks.
- About 2 months after your audiobook goes live, you’ll be able to check sales reports for each platform.
